EXCITING NEWS hit the web yesterday:

1. Marion Cotillard is OFFICIALLY signed on as part of the cast in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. Her part in the film has yet to be disclosed, but, as I reported yesterday on “Movie News Monday!” it is highly rumored that she will play the part of Talia Al Ghul.

2. Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan have signed on to reprise their roles from the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short in a new digital webseries that is set to also be directed by the same director of Rebirth, Kevin Tancharoen. See the very popular video, Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, HERE. White will play Jax, Ryan will play Sonya Blade, and Darren Shalahvi will be playing the role of Kano!

3. Spiderman Reboot receives official title: The Amazing Spiderman! Plus: Take a look at Andrew Garfield in the new suit: mask, webshooters, and all!! OHHH MAN!! I am SOOO excited. More news on The Amazing Spiderman is beginning to flow, so stay tuned for more.

In light of these bits of news, Marvel and DC have inspired this week’s version of “Time to Vote Tuesday.” So many superhero movies are on their way this year. 2012 is no different, and looks to bring more! So, Today I ask you…

 Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

Aranofsky being the director makes me hyped for Wolverine. Not to mention I’m sure Clint Manselk will score the film too. And of course TDKR.

Although after hearing the title and seeing that picture I’m starting to get some faith for the new Spidey. I just love the title. Reminds me of one of my main career goals (to make an X-Men film simply titled “Uncanny”).

Did you know that Jackman said last week that Aronofsky asked him to be eating 6,000 calories a day to prepare for the role! Jackman said he is curious seeing that he already is at 210 lbs! Sounds to me like they have quite the workout routine ready for him! Thanks for voting!

Oh my, tough choices for this week’s poll! I voted for Superman but TDKR comes close, especially now that Marion’s been cast. I have a news post for today and I mentioned about her, too. I’ve been wanting her to join Batman 3 since 2009!

You could have voted for them both! :) this poll let’s u vote for two at the same time. I know you’re a dc lover!

Nice to see Marion Cotillard in TDKR but this is starting a worrisome trend. Seeing the same group of actors always appearing in a director’s movie gets tiresome pretty quickly.

Thanks for voting man! Can u blame Nolan though for recognizing and retaining good talent?

  4. February 15, 2011 7:27 pm

Oh and I still voted The Dark Knight Rises ahah. Superman is likely to be bad, given all the bad rumors about the script as well as the feeling that the movie is being rushed.

    • February 16, 2011 12:35 am

I also heard those superman rumors…but I really don’t believe that Snyder and Nolan will let a bad script pass!

I never believe script rumors anything Nolan. He keeps it to close to the chest to leak. He’d never let a bad Superman script pass.

Yep, we’ll just have to wait and see…frustrated that we don’t know…and Nolan will laugh! haha!

    Wow…that spiderman poster is awesome.
I voted for Batman…as he is the only superheroes left that I consider watching it

Doesn’t Spiderman look so cool?! I can’t wait to get the poster at my house! :) Thanks for voting!
