Hey T, this is cool! I’m about to post my Top 5 Faves as well later today, great minds think alike eh?
Btw, I can’t see the image of your best one… broken image link.
thank you. I will work on it rt now!!
Oh cool, yeah that’ll be on my list too. I can only come up with five faves from this year. Stay tuned.
staying tuned! Can’t wait!
Nice post – there were definitely some great posters this year. I’m not sure about my own personal favorite, though I do like the simplicity of Shame’s poster quite a bit.
Eric, thanks for stopping by. I really enjoy movie posters quite a bit and like to showcase them!
Shame is a Great poster! no doubt! oftentimes it is the busiest posters that are the worst ones!
Nice post! The posters this year were awesome and they only get better and better I have to say.
Thanks Dan!! Do you have a favorite from this year?
Nice selection of posters Terrence! I’m surprised not to see anything from Drive
My personal favorite would probably be Midnight in Paris.
thanks Castor! Yes, I tried to put Drive in here, but the other ones just won over the DRIVE posters for me. (ha, it was supposed to be only 15 posters!)
Glad Midnight in Paris is on your list as well.
Hi, ScarlerSp1der and company:
Lots of interesting posters this year. Some intriguing ones, too.
Don’t understand all the hoopla and noise over ‘The Tree Of Life’. Poster looks way too busy. More of a collage than anything else.
Really like the poster for ‘The Artist’. Pure simplicity in lush B&W.
The poster for ‘The Devil’s Double’ is way too bright, glitzy and flashy. Almost hurts my eyes.
Hi Jack! Thanks for commenting on the posters (a subject I love to discuss)
I like The Tree of Life poster because it’s not like so many of the same style posters we always see…a single character facing toward or away with the title above their head and some lazy graphics on the side. Tree of Life dared to be different with a beautiful collage. While I didn’t care for the film, I do like the poster!
I knew you would love The Artist!
nice taste!
T, man, you seriously have one of the most enjoyable blogs I’ve read
Cosmopolis… brilliant poster! I could write a review on it it’s so awesome
hahaha completely agree with number 1
Matt, that is an awesome compliment. Thank you very much for that!
Cosmopolis poster strikes me! I like it quite a bit! I hope the movie turns out good. I know very little about it!
Nice choices. But I cant take anything about “Immortals” seriously any longer LOL
Haha. That’s funny. The poster seems to dictate just how visual Tarsem Singh’s film is!
Really like the way you positioned all of these…really a lot of really great ones! Wouldn’t be able to pick one myself
thanks! Yeah, I love posters, and this year brought out several that I truly enjoyed! Need to expand my personal collection! ha
