It’s been TWO months since we’ve checked out The Happy Haps and that’s two months too long! So prepare! It is now time for…
What are the “Happy-Haps?!”
…as in the happy happenings that are going on in the movie blogosphere! This is the day of link-love for several movie bloggers and sites that have written articles/reviews that I have not been able to bring to your immediate attention! Today is your day to catch up on many other stories and goings on that just might make you smile…hence the name “The Happy-Haps!”
(keep in mind that every word highlighted below in gold is a clickable link!)
Happy-Hap #1– Dan at Top 10 Films shares a look at his list of the Top 10 Robots in Film! What a fun list. Which ones are your faves? I, Robot? Terminator? Iron Giant? Optimus Prime? Tony Stark’s voiceless robot assistant in Iron Man? Come up with your own list and then check out Dan’s. Be sure not to miss it. (remember, robots…not droids. so no C3P0 or R2D2 or Data from Star Trek)

Happy-Hap #2– Red from Anomalous Material shares his Top 100 films that he is looking forward to in 2013. Wow. Top 100. I’m not sure I’m looking forward to even 50, truth be told! Are Man of Steel, The Great Gatsby, Fast and Furious 6, The Wolverine and Jack Ryan on his list? Click the links and find out. (I may recommend bookmarking the lists as they are great comprehensive calenders of 2013 releases.) This is one super Happy-Hap.
-Split into 4 lists, check out this Happy Hap#2 here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
Happy-Hap #3– My friend Nostra at MyFilmViews post an actor spotlight every Friday in a post entitled “The Many Faces of…” Many of you know I am not the biggest Chan-Fan, but in an effort of “olive branchiness” (yes, I just made that up), here is Nostra’s filmographic profile of Channing Tatum’s movie history! Here’s the chance for all of you Chan-fans to show off just how many of his movies you have seen and to declare your favorite. Enjoy! :)

Happy-Hap #4– One of my favorite days is Tuesday! Not only because I am usually off on that day, and not only because of “Time to Vote Tuesday!”, but also because each Tuesday, Mark over at Marked Movies posts an article entitled “Tuesday’s Trivia Tidbits.” Plenty of cool “Did you know…” facts that may or may not be new to you but are fun to learn. Check out the newest list of trivia tidbits in this fun Jeopardy Champion-ish post!

Happy-Hap #5– Ruth over at Flixchatter.net wrote an article for Encore Entertainment all about the motif of love and/or marriage in movies (specifically in movies of 2012). What are some of your favorite spouses or lovers in movies? Rhett and Scarlet? Sean and Mary Kate from The Quiet Man? Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy? (One of MY favorite movie couples is Burt and Verona in Away We Go.) Dare I even list Bella and Jacob and Edward? (please, NO). If you had to choose from only 2012, which make your list? Check out the couples that Ruth spotlights in this love-ly Happy-Hap.

Do you still like him? Was Sixth Sense his best? Fifth Element? Did you like Die Hard 4? Join the discussion in this fun Happy-Hap!
