Killers Bring Life to the Theater!

We’ve all seen it before! Secret Agent working for a 3 letter agency is running for his life and has a gorgeous, although reluctant, sidekick that must fight through gun battles and chases right along side him if they are to survive! Seen it once, seen it a thousand times! Right? Well, sort of, but not really!

Killers, starring Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl, is a very refreshing new spin on this familiar plot! I must say, that after a few disappoints in the theater this week (see previous posts), Killers brought relief! Kutcher plays the super secret James Bond-ish character in such a way that I must congratulate the director and his staff for casting him in a role that fits him so well. I was impressed. The supporting cast of actors including the amazin’-mustache-wielding Tom Selleck, Catherine O’Hara, and several others made this movie even more enjoyable. The best dynamic of all, though, is the relationship that our hero in this movie has with his wife, played by Katherine Heigl. Bickering among themselves while fighting against those out to kill them made for alot of fun to watch and to relate to (hopefully you can’t relate to someone trying to kill you though) :)!

Kutcher and Heigl accomplished the sense of realism in their relationship that you would expect to see from a married couple! I loved the humor, the action, the drama, and the cast in this movie very much. Admittedly, it is still somewhat predictable to an extent. But they went about it in such a great way, that you don’t care. Congratulations on a job well done!

Go see this movie if you want a fun flick. Guys and gals both! (Not just for Ashton, ladies).

Thanks for reading!

Enjoy if you wish…or don’t enjoy! Happy watching!
