“Trailer Time Thursday!” 7.8.10

Welcome back to “Trailer Time Thursday!” The segment where you can catch up on all the previews you’ve missed in case you haven’t been to a theater since…Terminator! – -the FIRST one! 🙂

Eat.Pray.Love. Julia Roberts stars in this one. Based on a true story, Roberts plays as a woman who gets to do what, I think, everyone wants to do at some point in their life. Only difference is…she actually does it! For all of us who can’t, watch this movie and live vicariously through her experience. Eat.Pray.Love. August 13, 2010.

Get Low. Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek, and more in this film about a town and their fascination with the local backwoods hermit. Not what I’m used to seeing from Bill Murray! Looks like he might surprise us all. Look to get low on this film on July 30, 2010.

The American. George Clooney’s latest as a secret agent on his last mission and trying to retire. But, it seems, he may not be able to. September 1, 2010.

The Adjustment Bureau. Man, ya gotta love conspiracy theories! Apparently Matt Damon does! Bourne Conspiracy, Green Zone, and now this one! I can’t wait to check it out! What are your thoughts? You better Adjust your mind by September 17, 2010 or else….You’ve been warned. Just remember “I tried to reason with you!”

Lottery Ticket. Haven’t really seen Bow Wow star in a “decent” movie since “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift.” Let’s see how this one goes. Ever dream about what you would do if you won the lottery? Well, here’s a chance to see how that might play out. Get to scratchin! August 20, 2010.

Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

  1. I’m only mildly excited for Adjustment Bureau. I should be more excited for Eat, Pray, Love as it’s partly shot in Bali, which is in my home country, but it’s just meh for me. I might check out The American on dvd as I’m not really a Clooney fan, but the story did look pretty interesting.

  2. I just finished reading the script for EAT PRAY LOVE for a class. It’s as horrid as the trailer made me expect. Uggh. And I read they made the biggest merchandising deal ever with the Home Shopping Network. That means the whole movie was designed just to sell women exotic crap featured in the movie, not to tell an entertaining story. Pathetic.
