“Trailer Time Thursday!” 7.29.10

It’s Thursday! And that means…..Trailer Time Thursday” is upon us!!  (My internet connection fixed itself temporarily so I figured I had better finish Triple-T for you before anything else while I could–see previous post!) I love previews! I think that most people agree in saying that the trailers may very well be the greatest part of going to the movies! Whether it is, or it isn’t, THIS is the place to catch up on all of the trending trailers! I’m pretty excited about this week’s edition, especially after Comic-Con last week. Wooo! There are a lot more trailers than normal this time around! Hope you don’t mind! 🙂 Well, without further delay, ENJOY this edition ofTrailer Time Thursday!” (*note, some of these trailers may not be appropriate for the younger kiddos).

Sucker Punch. This intriguing and action packed psychological thriller has my attention! It has the same feel to it as 300 and Watchmen since it is the same director! I love the cinematography! I will be keeping tabs on this one as it looks to be amazing! Have a long wait until March 25, 2011.

Drive Angry. Can I say “Hooray” for this Nicolas Cage movie? I actually am glad he’s doing something like this again! Back to the action days of Gone in Sixty Seconds, ConAir, Face Off, and The Rock! Cage is also working on a Ghost Rider sequel and National Treasure 3!! But, I’ll wait to think about those! Right now, I just want to see him drive into a theater near me on February 11, 2011.

The Debt. Helen Mirren! I enjoy her acting and can’t wait to see her in Red. Here is another action film with her and several other recognizable stars. All about a group of special agents who, well…..I’ll let you watch the adrenaline pumping trailer! Releases December 29, 2010.

SawVII. Finally it ends! I’m just going to go ahead and say it! How many did they really plan on making when they started this series? I thought it was going to turn into Land Before Time! SawVII will release in theaters in 3D for it’s final film October 29th, 2010. For all you Saw fans, here’s the trailer!

Charlie St. Cloud. This film releases this weekend. A tale of a bond between brothers that is stronger than any other. Zac Efron takes his shot at a more serious role with this one and is torn between an unimaginable choice!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I hear that some lucky folks at Comic-Con got to actually preview this movie! How amazing! For all the rest of us that are forced to wait….here’s the most recent trailer of Scott’s war against “The League of Evil Exes!” This highly imaginative film looks fun! Releases August 13, 2010….the same day as The Expendables

Vampires Suck. Okay, if you read my review on Twilight Eclipse, then you know that I wasn’t THAT enthused to watch the film series, but Eclipse was actually decent. Well, when I saw this trailer, I couldn’t help but laugh. I just HAD to post it. For all of those people out there that are tired of hearing “tweens” and “twi-hards” argue about Jacob or Edward’s team, here is the trailer of a spoof on the series. I don’t normally like these types of films…and may actually end up disliking this one too, but the trailer made me chuckle! Enjoy the laughs Twilight fans and haters alike! Sink your teeth into this one on August 18, 2010.

From vampires to zombies,

Resident Evil: Afterlife. This one goes out to my friend “The Detroit Red Knight.” Milla Jovovich AND Ali Larter pack the punches on some serious “zombage!!!” (I just made up that word! You know you liked it!) This one will be in 3D. Get ready to resist Umbrella as it rains zombies on September 10, 2010.

And finally, I saved the best for last! Tron: Legacy. I’ve been waiting to put up a real good trailer for this film, and finally, one was released at Comic-Con. Here it is! This movie looks great! It is slotted to release around the same time as the new Chronicles of Narnia movie! Any takers on which film will win the box office? Releases December 17, 2010.

btw- yesterday was a record day for TheScarletSp1der’s Web page….102 views!! You all are amazing! Thanks SO much for reading! Happy Watching!
