Welcome to “Time to Vote Tuesday!” The session of fun weekly polls which spark thought, debate, and intrique!
Well, first off, allow me to thank all of you for making last week’s poll….the “Powerful Presidential Poll”…such a HUGE success! It was the most voted on session of all time (in the history of “Time to Vote Tuesday!”). click HERE to see the original poll. With 112 votes, 23 comments, several shares on facebook, twitter, and more, the decision for who would rule our country came down to the wire! Didn’t think it would end up as exciting as it was! Here are some of the events that transpired.
- At one point in time Professor X had twice the amount of votes as the 2nd place contender did!
- At one point in time there was a three-way tie for Vice-President!
- The Green Lantern got his one and only vote on the 5th day of voting!
- Prof X led the polls for the majority of the first half while Iron Man led for the majority of the second half!
- Marvel received 59 votes and DC received 53 votes!
So here are the results:
All Hail To The Chief! In a goverment of the people, for the people, and by the people….the people have spoken! The President and Vice-President of the United States of America are……………
The polls closed with these overall results:
- Superman-23 President Clark Kent
- Batman-22 Vice-President Bruce Wayne
- Iron Man-21 Speaker of the House, Tony Stark
- Professor X-20 President pro tempore of the Senate, Charles Xavier
- Captain America-16 Secretary of State, Steve Rogers
- Wonder Woman-6 Secretary of the Treasury, Princess Diana
- The Hulk-2 Secretary of Defense, Dr. Bruce Banner
- Green Lantern-1 Attorney General, Hal Jordan
“Extra! Extra! Read all about it! DC moves into D.C.!!!”
- DC won both offices even though most of the overall votes went to Marvel!
- Marvel had the longest run in the lead but DC came back from behind in classic “Tortoise beats the Hare” style!
- If not happy about the poll results here is a pic showing how you may feel. Click HERE!
A special “Thank You” once again to all of you who participated, added propaganda, shared the poll, commented, talked to me about the poll, everything! It truly was a lot of fun!

This week’s poll may be a lot simpler (perhaps not). Morning Glory releases tomorrow starring Rachel McAdams (“Wowser!!!) 🙂 and Harrison Ford! I can’t wait to see it….for the storyline of course! 😉 Harrison Ford has been in tons of movies and has established himself as a great actor and icon!
Here’s the trailer for Ford and McAdams’ new movie that releases this Wednesday…Morning Glory! (oh, and Jeff Goldblum and Diane Keaton also star).
As always….
Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

I, of course, am very envious of your pre-screening. I didn’t get to go to one this time around! Sounds like it was fun! I will check out your review here VERY shortly! And by the way, congratulations to you Mr. Secretary!

I agree with SilkSpectre… as much as I adore Man of Steel, he shouldn’t be president. I voted for Prof. X and I still stand by him! 🙂 Glad to see Bruce Wayne make is as VP though.
As for today’s poll, of course it’s Indy hands down… I think they should never remake that franchise as NOBODY can be as good as Ford in that role.
P.S. Did you get my email from yesterday? Hope you can participate but otherwise let me know.

I’d like to point out how ironic/awesome it is that The Hulk is the Secretary of Defense! I found that hilarious!

So do I. I’m sure Bruce will be keeping a close eye on Mr. Banner… as we all will.

Glad to see the results of the election. I think it all panned out wonderfully in the end. Superman and Batman running the country as I wanted but the other positions filled in perfectly. Iron Man makes the perfect Speaker of the house and Captain America as Secretary of the State just makes sense. I love that the Hulk is now in charge of the very people that have been chasing him his entire existance. Great poll, lots of fun. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for Bruce and I, we will not let you down.
