Hello and welcome to this week’s exciting, highlighting edition of “Trailer Time Thursday!” Your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”) has finally arrived and is ready! In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,” here’s what it’s all about:
Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!
Like Crazy (full trailer). This full-length trailer for Like Crazy tells a little more of the story of this drama from last week’s teaser trailer. Like Crazy stars Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin, and Jennifer Lawrence and releases in theaters on October 28, 2011.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Jennifer Garner (13 Going On 30) and Joel Edgerton (upcoming Warrior) partner up with Disney to tell a tale of hopeful childless parents and a bundle of joy that reveals himself to be more than he appears. Watch the odd trailer for this upcoming family film which releases on August 15, 2012.
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Because I just really like this trailer, here, once again on “Triple-T”, is the trailer for MI-Ghost Protocol. The mission, should you choose to accept it, begins on December 21, 2011.
The Sitter. Warning: This trailer is not necessarily appropriate for all viewers. In this comedy, a suspended college student (Jonah Hill) reluctantly, neglectfully, and nonchalantly babysits 3 impossible kids that take him through some pretty impossible situations. co-starring Sam Rockwell. The babysitting gig starts on December 9, 2011.
Anonymous (trailer #2). See more about the film that alleges that Shakespeare never penned a single word of any of the plays, ballads, and poems attributed to him. An interesting premise and film. Directed by Ronald Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow), Anonymous releases on October 28, 2011.
Coriolanus. Speaking of Shakespeare, enjoy this thrilling trailer for a Shakespearean story set in more modern times. Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter films) both directs and stars in this exciting film which also features the talent of the likes of Gerard Butler, Brian Cox, Jessica Chastain, and Vanessa Redgrave. Coriolanus hits theaters on December 2, 2011.
Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!
My favorite 3 trailers from today: The Odd Life of Timothy Green, Mission Impossible: GP, and Coriolanus. Which ones are your favorites??
**Upcoming Film Spotlight (courtesy GeekTyrant): The Iceman.
Synopsis: The Iceman is the electrifying true story of Richard Kuklinski (Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon, Revolutionary Road), notorious mob contract killer and loving family man. He earned his nick-name by freezing the bodies of his victims, disguising the time of death and throwing police off-track. He was a man who used his tendencies toward violence and detachment from consequence to create an idyllic family life. His family and neighbors believed he was an average businessman, having no idea about his deadly alternate life. Kuklinski killed over one hundred people during his life. He never felt remorse for anything he had done, except hurting his family. The film also stars Benicio Del Toro and James Franco. Iceman is set to premiere at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and is scheduled to get released in theaters in the fall.
Wow, the acting in the trailer is superb. Michael Shannon delivers! It’s got my attention. Watch the chilling promo trailer for yourself HERE! WARNING!, the trailer should be considered Rated R for strong language and violence. Viewer Discretion Advised!!
