Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

ENJOY!!! :)

American Reunion. all of the crew returns in this reunion film that brings back familiar faces and funny memories. Even Jim’s dad is back! Check out the trailer and send your RSVP. Save the date. April 6, 2012.

We Need To Talk About Kevin. Though this trailer is not as telling as the first, this film stars John C. Reilly and Tilda Swinton in a story about a troubled family. A mother whose troubled relationship with her son causes her much grief and pain…especially after he ends up going on a killing spree at his high-school. This powerful film releases on January 27, 2012.

Shame. This film (which has received an NC-17 rating from the MPAA) features the story of a man with a very private life (Michael Fassbender) and the unexpected arrival of his sister (Carey Mulligan) which imposes upon his daily/nightly lifestyle addiction. Don’t worry…the trailer is not NC-17…the MPAA at least approved this portion for all audiences to see. Shame releases on December 2, 2011.

What do you think of this film?

Question of the day: In your opinion, Are there films that skated by on an “R” rating that should’ve received an NC-17 rating for either language, drug usage, explicit sexual activity, or violence? Leave a comment.

The Innkeepers. Okay, all you scary-movie fans! The title of this movie should be “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie!” as it tells the story of some people who know of the supposed haunted past of a local hotel and try to contact said ghosts in two days prior to the hotel’s demolition. Not the best decision they probably ever made. The ghostly tale is set to spook moviegoers on February 3, 2012.

Project X. Ah, Highschool! The fight for acceptance with the “in” crowd, the girls, the acne! haha. Follow story of a couple of highschool kids who try to make a name for themselves by throwing the big house party while the parent units are out of town! Only…as most parties would have it…things get WAAYY out of hand. And I mean…WAAYY out of hand! ha! Party time begins on March 2, 2012.

Underworld Awakening 3D. Big fan of the Underworld series? Here is the latest theatrical trailer for the 4th installment of the classic Lycan/Werewolf battle…only with a couple of new twists. I hope there is more to this film than what the telling trailer holds. Look for it on January 20, 2012.

This Week’s “Special Trailer Spotlight”:

Trailer for Crime thriller: Restitution!

Restitution tells the story of “a true crime writer investigating a small town murder spree uncovers the devastating truth that changes the town forever.” (-imdb). A high energy and action-filled mystery/drama that looks like it won’t stop until the end. It is supposed to release real soon (some sites even state it released last weekend). I’m not expecting to see it in any major theaters, but it will probably end up on dvd and netflix real soon! What do you think of the film?

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: Underworld Awakening 3D, Shame, and Project X. Which ones are your favorites??

Are you ready for the weekend in theaters??!! Here’s what releases this weekend, November 4, 2011

  • Wide Release: A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D, Tower Heist, and The Son of No One
  • Limited Release: Killing Bono and Goethe

Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

up next: Review for Puss in Boots

  1. Kate Beckinsale is soooo pretty & yeah she looks bad ass in Underworld 4. They even made the trailer look like it’s a cool action flick, but I really don’t think that franchise needs a sequel, let alone a fourth one!! The clip they showed at comic-con was mindless fun though, but I don’t think I’ll be watching this.

As for your questions, a bunch of movies that are hyper violent get by on an R rating, whilst when it comes to sex, MPAA seems more stringent.

    • Scott!! I love Underworld and am pretty excited to see the next one…although, I have my reservations about it. Glad to hear you liked Shame.

Thanks for the best wishes. Same to you and your family my friend!!

  2. We Need To Talk About Kevin was an excellent movie that really got under my skin, worth checking out!

    Don’t forget it’s Friday Faces Time! 😉

  3. Definitely some good trailers in Kevin and Shame! I really wanna see both of those films now. I have to agree w/ ruth that films that have ultra violence skate by but sex gets the big red NC17. Either way I thin Shame is gonna be an emotional roller coaster and Kevin..WOW!!! Thanks T for the previews to get me through my weekend.
