ENJOY!!! :)

Quill. Ironically, this movie came out 8 years ago in Japan and has been slowly reaching the shores of additional countries since then. See the story of a guide dog who helps others along on their journey to see what’s important in life, with eyes other than the ones that are blind. Look for Quill to make an appearance near you sometime soon.

Virginia. Jennifer Connelly stars in this 2010 film that releases here in the U.S. this year. Along with Ed Harris, this story of a man running for office with a dirty secret that a woman named Virginia decides to exploit via blackmail to help her and her son. Only thing is, she also needs help as she is psychologically disturbed.

Madea’s Witness Protection. Tyler Perry’s Madea returns and who knows what she’s up to again in this film where her home will serve as a hideaway for a family under witness protection. As is the norm with Madea films, expect most of the film to revolve around the family and not the antics of Madea. It is set to release in theaters on June 29, 2012.

Magic Mike. Channing Tatum returns to his roots as it were and brings a film about a man who strips for money but is on a search for something more. Sounds kind of like Tatum’s biography. This movie tries to create an appeal that is more than just physical as he searches for love and meaning in life. Co-starring Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer, Magic Mike’s show -directed by Steven Soderbergh- begins on June 29, 2012.

Your Sister’s Sister. Emily Blunt stars in this film of a woman who sends her friend to a remote cabin with her sister to recollect himself and get back on track with his life. Only, things get complicated when she visits them both and both sisters discover they have fallen for the same man. Releasing this summer, this one is another film on Blunt’s ever growing resume. What do you think?

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. The crew returns in this 3rd installment of the kid series. School is out and it is time for summer. What kind of fun and antics will they be getting into during the dog days of summer? Watch and find out. The film releases August 3, 2012.

The Amazing Spider-Man (Japanese trailer). All I’ll say here is: More Footage! Can’t Wait! 7.3.12.

This Week’s “Special Trailer Spotlight”:

Hemingway & Gellhorn

This HBO film spotlights Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman as the war reporting duo, Hemingway and Gellhorn, respectively. Watch this trailer as they enter a tumultuous affair during the war that gave Hemingway some of his greatest fame, WWII. Oh, and Robert Duvall is in it too.

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: The Amazing Spider-Man, Your Sister’s Sister, and…well, that’s all. Which ones are your favorites??

Are you ready for the weekend in theaters? Here’s what releases this weekend, April 20, 2012:

  • Wide Release: Chimpanzee, The Lucky One, and Think Like a Man
  • Limited Release: Darling Companion, The Moth Diaries, Goodbye First Love, and more.

Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

up next: finally, my review for LOCKOUT

    • Spider-Man! Spider-Man! Spider-Man! haha.

I almost added that Prometheus viral video. You’re right, it is so cool. I put it on the facebook fan page and twitter feed instead. Thanks for mentioning it. Can’t wait for the film.

  1. I’m a fan of Jennifer Connelly but boy does she love to pick off material. Love Kidman too and she loves odd stuff too…So probably Your Sister’s Sister, though I might watch the other two if I had the opportunity. Cheers.

  2. I am really looking forward to that Hemingway Gellhorn HBO movie. Papa has always held a special place in my heart and the time period of his life this film covers is pretty amazing.

  3. Quill is soooo cute, sounds like a heartwarming movie.

I’ve GOT to see ‘Hemingway and Gellhorn’ just to see how Owen portrayed the famous writer! As dashing as Owen is though, Hemingway is even more gorgeous when he was young, I mean REALLY good looking.
