New Posters for The Dark Knight Rises

May 22, 2012

Over the past 24 hours, several new posters have released for The Dark Knight Rises.

While some of them are rather “lazy” in my opinion (i.e. yesterday’s release is basically just a rehash of an earlier poster with flames added in), it’s neat to get some more looks at the characters of the epic conclusion. And, even if character posters aren’t your thing, these are still pretty neat! Have a look.

(Click any one of the posters to enlarge and then use the arrow keys to scroll through the selection.)

Do you like the posters? Which one is your favorite?

The Dark Knight Rises directed by Christopher Nolan and starring the likes of Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, and more is set to release in theaters on July 20, 2012 and I can’t wait. Can you?

Thanks for reading!

I like the large letter RISE triple as a set, with Batman (face forward) poster as my fave, myself. Did you notice that both Batman and Catwoman eyes are not visible in each? Thanks, T.

whoa! I hadn’t noticed that. I’m guessing their masks now are supposed to work like Spider-Man’s! hmm!

Thanks for pointing that out and chiming in.

I’ve made my opinions on character posters more than clear… even if they are for my most anticipated film of the year and look very cool in places! Do something original!

indeed you have and I def see your point. I’d have liked to see something more original here too, but it’s still a nice look at the characters. Thanks for weighing in, Ben!

While all my anticipation energies are focused on Prometheus I have to say these are some impressive posters! As soon as Prometheus has come and gone I can start thinking about Batman!

Man, I don’t blame you, Dan, for focusing on Prometheus. It is going to be so super epic. I cannot wait. Thanks for chiming in today.

I’m getting a Jason Vorheees circa F13 pt VI or VII vibe from one of those Bane posters…

I dont think that’s a good thing, but, oh well. Anne Hathaway is hot. LOL

Nope. In those first trailers though, He might as well have been, cause I couldnt understand a word Bane was saying anyways.

Lazy! Yes, that’s what my hubby said when he saw the fiery one. Seriously Nolan, this seems so rudimentary and cliched!

Well, I’ll let it slide this time! So far as they are using their resources to make the movie even more aweomer! 🙂
