“Trailer Time Thursday!” 6.28.12 (PT 2)

June 28, 2012

Today is THURSDAY!!! And you know what that means!! 🙂 It is officially time for another fun-filled edition of “Trailer Time Thursday!”

Finally, your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”) has arrived!!

In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,”here’s what it’s all about:

Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

This post is PART 2 of today’s trailers! Be sure to check out PART 1 to enjoy the PREVIEW PANDEMONIUM of trailers that published earlier today (Click HERE)! ENJOY!!! :)

Hotel Translyvania. This second trailer shows more of what to expect from Adam Sandler’s upcoming animated feature about Dracula, his daughter, and his hotel that he built to protect monsters from…humans! ha. Enjoy. It is set to release on September 21, 2012.

Arbitrage. Oh, Richard Gere! When will you stop making the same movies over and over again? 😀 Susan Sarandon co-stars in this thriller focusing on a high-rolling business man who, through adulterous means, finds himself in a situation that threatens his freedom, his family, and his financial empire! The lies keep coming as Tim Roth stars as the detective closing in. What will happen? The plot thickens and will be revealed on September 14, 2012.

Epic. This animated…epic…looks like the guy from Tangled walked into the world of Avatar and Fern Gully. Enter a world of tiny proportions but full of big dreams as a teenager finds herself transported into a world in the forest where a battle is raging to save the world. Featuring the voices of Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, and more, this one hits theaters May 17, 2013.

Robot & Frank. An ex-jewel thief in need of a companion in the near future befriends a robot gifted to him and finds other ways to benefit from such a talented companion. Check out this fun looking drama that will remind you of Bicentennial Man, but with a nicer angle. Look for it to hit theaters August 24th.

Easy Money. The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman (who has been cast as RoboCop) stars in the Martin Scorsese film where money and excess are honored and glorified but can come at a high cost. Having already released 2 years ago internationally, it hits the U.S. this summer.

Looper. This international trailer shows more footage, dialogue, and action that makes this, again, one of my more anticipated movies of the year. A very unique storyline starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt, and more…if you don’t already know about this film, you just need to watch this trailer! Get ready for it on September 28, 2012.

This Week’s “Special Trailer Spotlight”:

Trailer for Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai

This tale of revenge looks so good as it focuses on a man who seeks honor after discovering the unjust fate of his son-in-law. Vengeance and Justice are served in this action-packed thriller of sword and fist. Look for it July 20th.

What do you think?

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’! (Don’t forget to check out today’s earlier trailers in Part 1 HERE)

My favorite trailers from Triple-T, Pt 2: Looper, Robot & Frank, and Death of a Samurai. Which ones are your favorites??

Are you ready for the weekend in theaters? Here’s what releases this weekend, June 29, 2012:

  • Wide Release: Magic Mike, Madea’s Witness Protection, and Ted
  • Limited Release: Take This Waltz, Beasts of the Southern Wild, People Like Us, and more.

Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!

Hotel Transylvania actually looks like it might be all right. Which I suppose would add Adam Sandler to the ranks of comedic actors who are really annoying in live-action but somehow entertaining as voice actors. He still can’t sing, though.

Epic certainly looks pretty. That’s about all I got out of that.

Robot and Frank looks like it could be fun, and of course Frank Langella is always good.

I agree with Pete, though, Looper looks to be the best of the bunch here.

ha, Epic is pretty, and that was about all I could say on that too.

Still not sold on Hotel Translyvania, but at least parents will have something to take their kids to and still enjoy I guess.

I really like Robot and Frank and Looper. Thanks for checking out the trailers.
