“Trailer Time Thursday!” 9.20.12

Today is THURSDAY!!! And you know what that means!! 🙂 It is officially time for another fun-filled edition of “Trailer Time Thursday!”

Finally, your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”) has arrived!!

In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,” here’s what it’s all about:

Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

Check them out and ENJOY!!! :)

Texas Chainsaw 3D. I wonder how many stereotypes from the horror genre we can count on happening just from the trailer alone for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre that apparently doesn’t end. Another Leatherface legend hits the big screen (and in 3D no less) on January 4, 2013.

Beautiful Creatures. Starring Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum, Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons and more, this supernatural drama tells the tale of a girl who encounters a cold reception in a community and is feared as mysterious events surrounding her lead to unwelcome discoveries about the local residents. The creatures come out on February 13, 2013.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Here is a lighter toned trailer for the upcoming first of another epic Peter Jackson trilogy based on the work of J.R.R. Tolkein! The Hobbit returns quite a bit of the cast of The Lord of the Rings to the screen together in this adventure of Bilbo Baggins. Enjoy this fun new trailer with more footage for the film which releases on December 14, 2012.

The Collection. Horror fans who enjoy the Saw series may find something to enjoy in The Collection in which a sole survivor of “The Collector’s” most recent attack must go back into the booby-trapped belly of the beast to help rescue other possible straggling survivors. This horror flick is set to release on November 30, 2012.

Stand Up Guys. Al Pacino, Christopher Walken…this looks fun. A couple of aged con men are back to their old ways and get the gang back together after being released. Only a new assignment for one of them bears some not-so good news for the other one. See who will be a stand up guy on January 11, 2013.

Mama. Jessica Chastain and others star in this horror thriller produced by Guillermo Del Toro. Releasing on January 18, 2013, Mama deals with a couple who faces extraordinary challenges of a paranormal type when they accept the challenge of raising two young nieces who were left abandoned in a forest for nearly five years.

Spotlight Trailer of the Week.

Don’t forget to check out this week’s edition of the Posters of the Week HERE.

  1. Nice to see Jessica Chastain keep getting good roles. Al Pacino + Christopher Walken combo? Sounds great, hopefully better than the Pacino/De Niro collaboration, ahah.

  2. Stand Up Guys and The Hobbit both look really good; not that that’s any surprise in the case of the The Hobbit. Beautiful Creatures looks like an interesting one… trailer kind of zig-zagged in the genre that it appeared to be setting up. Thought at first it would be a standard drama, then a horror movie, then it looked more like straight-up fantasy. Not sure now.
