“Trailer Time Thursday!” 11.1.12

November 1, 2012

Today is THURSDAY!!! And you know what that means!! 🙂 It is officially time for another fun-filled edition of “Trailer Time Thursday!”

Finally, your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”) has arrived!!

In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,” here’s what it’s all about:

Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

Check them out and ENJOY!!! :)

Trailers:

Rise of the Guardians (trailer#3). Enjoy this additional look at DreamWorks’ upcoming animated feature that brings the legends of childhood together to defend against a global threat to happiness in the world. Jack Frost, probably the least known of them all, is more important than he realized. I can’t wait to see the guardians rise in theaters on November 21, 2012.

John Dies At The End. I’ve never been a fan of soy sauce, and now I know why. John ends up on a “quest” while under the influence of a new drug and he must fight plenty of odd characters and monsters in an alternate universe and hope to survive. Will John die at the end? Only time will tell. This story will hit theaters on January 25, 2013.

Despicable Me 2. This Halloween-themed trailer for the upcoming sequel features the laughter-inducing minions and a very close encounter of the third kind! Despicable Me 2 comes to delight audiences in theaters on July 3, 2013.

Allegiance. BowWow stars as a National Guardsman with a transfer that keeps him from going overseas with the rest of his unit. His allegiance to his ethics, his unit, and himself come into question as unexpected events place him in a tough spot. Originally entitled “Recalled”, Allegiance has already received some pretty good reviews. Look for it soon.

Quartet. Dustin Hoffman takes the director’s chair in this charming film that focuses on the lives of professional singers who have retired yet still have not stopped living and wanting. This one has gotten some attention at film festivals, including the TCFF. See Ruth’s review on this musically inclined movie at Flixchatter HERE. Quartet hits theaters on January 4, 2013.

Bullet to the Head (trailer#2). Stallone doing what he seems to enjoy: beating up bad guys. Only, this time it is his daughter who is at stake as the bad guys have taken her hostage. Co-starring Jason Momoa and Christian Slater, Stallone brings the bullets into theaters on February 1, 2013.

Spotlight Trailer of the Week:

Featurette for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn pt 2

Admittedly, I am only excited for this movie because it represents the ending of this saga that really does nothing for me. Sparkling vampires, wolfboy abs, vampire children, and bad acting to boot. BUT, I also realize that several people do enjoy the series. The final film (perhaps final…rumors continue about furthering the story) will hit theaters on November 16, 2012. Check out this latest featurette for the film:

What do you think? Are you ready for the vampires?

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: Despicable Me 2, Rise of the Guardians and Allegiance (glad to see Bow Wow doing a few more different things). 😀 Which ones are your favorites??
