Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

Check them out and ENJOY!!! :)

The Lone Ranger (trailer#2). Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp star in this tale of the masked hero and his loyal companion. This second trailer shows plenty of more action and adventure as the lawful legend is born. Co-starring Tom Wilkinson, Helena Bonham Carter, Pablo Quintana and more, this Gore Verbinski directed film releases on July 3, 2013.

Welcome to the Punch. James McAvoy stars as a London detective who has always been determined to take down one of England’s most notorious criminals. He has that chance when said criminal is “forced” to come out of hiding. Prepare for the action and excitement that ensues when this one hits theaters on March 15, 2013.

Man of Steel (trailer#2). This second theatrical trailer not only shows more of the cast but also gives more of what to expect from Zack Snyder’s Superman story. Henry Cavill stars as the Last Son of Krypton in this origin story unlike any of the others we’ve seen. Man of Steel also stars Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni and more. Look for it in theaters on June 14, 2013.

Pacific Rim. After the teaser viral video from a couple weeks ago (see HERE) comes the first full theatrical trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. Idris Elba stars as the leader of a group of special pilots who control giant robots (if you will) built to fight off giant monsters who threaten the safekeeping of humanity. Check out the impressive first full trailer for this July 12, 2013 release.

The Last Stand (trailer#2). Arnold Schwarzenegger’s next film has a new trailer. He stars as the sheriff in a town that is the last place to stop a fugitive leader of the drug cartel who is fleeing to Mexico. Arnold and his deputies stand determined to make sure he doesn’t succeed. This one releases on January 18, 2013.

Oblivion. This first trailer gives us something to look forward to from the director of Tron: Legacy. Tom Cruise stars as Jack Harper (not “Reacher”…that’s a different movie that releases this month) in this exciting futuristic movie. Releasing on April 19, 2013. Here’s the official synopsis:

On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man’s confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.

Jack Harper (Cruise) is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth.  Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack’s mission is nearly complete.

Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft.  Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.

up next: Review of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

  1. Man of Steel looks good to me, I’m just into those, but Welcome to the Punch does as well…Ridley Scott’s involved and McAvoy and Strong are cool. Hadn’t heard of it before, thanks T. Does Megan Fox look ~different~ to anyone else?

  2. I am hating the Man of Steel marketing campaign. These trailers just look absolutely awful to me, and I’m hoping that, much like the Batman films, the movie itself is much better. Concerned, though, since it seems to be making Pa Kent somebody who values his son’s secret over the lives of others, and that’s not Pa Kent — sure, he may not be a big character in the overall movie, but if it gets that wrong, where else may it go wrong?

Oblivion looks good. Lot of potential there. Pacific Rim might be all right, but I’m not expecting much out of it. After Earth looks better than I expected. I’ll grudgingly admit the possibility of an M. Night comeback.

The Lone Ranger continues to look like a really bad joke.
