Check them out and ENJOY!!!
Leonie. One of the more underrated actresses I know of, Emily Mortimer, stars in this time period drama about the ambitious mother of one of the most prominent sculpturists of the 20th century. A dramatized biography that focuses on the life and endeavors of Leonie Gilmour and the work she does to ensure her sons motivation, drive and success. Co-starring Christina Hendricks, Shidô Nakamura and more this one hits more film festivals in the US this year.
To The Wonder. Director Terrence Malick’s next film tells the story of a couple (Neil and Marina) who, while visiting Oklahoma, encounter problems with their relationship and seek counsel and comfort from others. Marina seeks comfort from a priest struggling with the call of the robe while Neil reengages connection with a childhood friend named Jane. The plot thickens in this drama that stars Ben Affleck, Olga Kurylenko, Javier Bardem, Rachel McAdams and more. (If dinosaurs pop up in this film I may just boycott the Tree of Life director films for a while.) I wonder…Look for it on April 12.
The Bling Ring. Emma Watson stars in this Sofia Coppola-written and directed film inspired by actual events. Follow a group of teenagers obsessed with following the rich and famous and robbing their houses. Tracking celebrities and robbing them can only last so long before the bling rings are traded out for silver bracelets (handcuffs). Look for this one to have a limited release in June 2013.
Generation Um…. Keanu Reeves introduces the trailer for his film centered around 3 NYC friends and one day together filled with not much more than ponderings, sex, drugs and decisions (or the lack thereof). Starring Keanu Reeves, Adelaide Clemens, Daniel Sunjata and more, Generation Um… releases on May 28, 2013.
Star Trek Into Darkness (trailer#2). The most exciting trailer of the week. Enjoy this second full trailer for the upcoming sequel with Captain Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Scotty, Checkov, Sulu and more! A manhunt begins in search for a vindictive villain in a path bent for destruction and Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise are the one posed to try to stop him. J.J. Abrams directs this May 17th adventure where no man has gone before!
Scary Movie 5. The spoof series continues with its satire and B-list star-studded cast. Not much more to have to introduce this one with as it mixes a ridiculous story with the last few released horror movies together. The scares begin on April 12.
***In case you missed the Red-Band trailer for Kick-A$$ 2, it is now available! Click the photo for the trailer for the August 16, 2013 sequel starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Jim Carrey and more.
Spotlight Video of the Week:
Enjoy this new featurette for the book-to-film scifi adventure starring Tom Cruise that hits theaters on April 12. Starring Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough and more, this film is directed by John Kosinski (Tron: Legacy). Here’s the short synopsis:
On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man’s confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.
Can’t wait to see this one myself. How about you?
Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!
My favorite trailers from today: Star Trek Into Darkness, The Bling Ring and Oblivion. Which ones are your favorites??
