Here is your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”)!!

In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,” here’s what it’s all about:

Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

Check them out and ENJOY!!! :)

Trailers:

Rush. Check out the newest trailer for Ron Howard’s next film starring Chris Hemsworth. Rush is about Formula 1 champion driver Niki Lauda and the 1976 crash that nearly claimed his life. Afterwards he gets back behind the wheel to answer the challenge from rival James Hunt (Hemsworth). Look for Howard’s biopic which hits theaters on September 20, 2013.

The Best Man Holiday. Until today, I knew nothing of this sequel to 1999’s The Best Man that takes place 15 years after. Starring Terrence Howard, Morris Chestnut and more, and also directed by Malcolm Lee (who directed the first one), this sequel reunites the crew of friends during a Christmas holiday as they rediscover old rivalries and feelings. Doesn’t sound to intriguing, especially given how mediocre the first one was…but…to each their own. Look for it on November 15.

Machete Kills. Here’s your first look to the sequel to Machete, entitled Machete Kills. Danny Trejo returns and faces more bad guys as Machete in this B-movie continuation. This time the U.S. President recruits him to take down an arms dealer who is planning to launch some weapons into outer space. Co-starring Mel Gibson, Lady Gaga, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Jessica Alba and more, Robert Rodriguez directs this September 13 release.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. A new quest faces the son of Poseidon as the need to find the golden fleece grows even more important to the survival of himself and his friends. The adventure continues and stars Logan Lerman, Nathan Fillion, Stanley Tucci, Sean Bean, Brandon T. Jackson and more. Look to hit the high seas on August 7.

Disney’s Planes. The aerial version of Cars? Here’s the new trailer for Disney’s Planes starring the vocal talent of Val Kilmer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Teri Hatcher, Dane Cook and more. An “engine that could” story of a plane, afraid of heights, that dreams of competing in aerial races and winning. Look for this animated aerial adventure in August 2013.

Monster’s University. Check out the final trailer for the upcoming prequel to one of Pixar’s greatest. Follow Mike and Sully in their college years and see how they got to be the great scarers that we knew and loved in Monster’s Inc. Their first time away from home is full of classic college happenings and tons of fun. Look for Monster’s University to open up its campus on June 21, 2013.

Spotlight Video of the Week:

Trailer for Ain’t Them Bodies Saintsaint-them-bodies-saints-poster1-405x600

Here’s the trailer for another movie I knew nothing of prior to today. Starring Rooney Mara (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), Casey Affleck (Gone Baby Gone), Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma) and more, here is the synopsis for this upcoming drama:

Bob Muldoon (Casey Affleck) and Ruth Guthrie (Rooney Mara), an impassioned young outlaw couple on an extended crime spree, are finally apprehended by lawmen after a shootout in the Texas hills. Although Ruth wounds a local officer, Bob takes the blame. But four years later, Bob escapes from prison and sets out to find Ruth and their daughter, born during his incarceration. Set against the backdrop of 1970′s Texas Hill Country, director David Lowery paints a poetic picture, evoking the mythology of westerns and saturating the dramatic space with an aching sense of loss. Featuring powerful performances by Affleck, Mara as well as Ben Foster and Keith Carradine, AIN’T THEM BODIES SAINTS is a story of love, motherhood, and searching for peace while faced with an unrelenting past.

What do you think of this one? Look for it on August 16, 2013.

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: Monsters University, Rush and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Which ones are your favorites??

Can’t wait to see “Rush”! I’m excited that Daniel Bruhl, who plays Nikki Lauda, is getting more exposure in American films this year. He needs to be known to a greater audience, he’s such a good actor! Thanks for sharing the new trailer 🙂
