Today is Tuesday! and if you’ve been coming here for any length of time, you know that, for most people Tuesday is just the day after Monday, but for you it means that “Time to Vote Tuesday” is here!! YES!!! What is “Time to Vote Tuesday”?:
“Time to Vote Tuesday” is the session of fun weekly polls which spark thought, debate, and intrigue! Each poll closes in a week with results posted on the following ‘TVT’!
Last week’s poll: “Solo Survivor Man“ has officially closed and the results are in with 26 total votes. Asking which “almost solo” character survivor movie was the best. With choices like Moon, Cast Away and Buried in the mix, it proved to be quite a close race. Life of Pi barely missed first place by 1 vote as you all voted Moon as the #1 “solo survivor man” movie.
Be sure to check out the rest of the results in last week’s poll HERE! Thanks to all that voted and made last week’s poll fun!
This week’s edition of ‘TVT’ entitled “What’s in a Name?” brings up a fun set of options between actors/directors who happen to share the same last name.
If someone were to mention the last name “Jovovich” or “Pitt” or “Spielberg” or “Freeman” or “Aniston” or “Travolta”…you automatically have that person’s image in mind. (Milla, Brad, Steven, Morgan, Jennifer or John). Right?
But who comes to mind if I were to throw out the last names of “Stewart” or “Roberts” or “Hepburn” or “Williams” or even “Keaton”? At this point, you wouldn’t be able to 100% be confident of which person I’d be referring to unless you knew the context of the statement or its subject.
Today takes a look at the names of some actors/directors and begs to ask you which namesake’s work do you prefer more.
ATTENTION: It is very important to read the instructions for this poll prior to voting!
Here’s how this poll works:
- Below there are 10 options.
- 5 pairs of the same last name “Hollywoodites.”
- Your job is to choose 1 option per pair for a total of 5 votes in your ballot.
- You cannot vote for two people with the same last name. [Tell me with your vote if you prefer the likes of Woody Allen’s work over the the work of Tim Allen (The Santa Clause, etc) for example.]
Are you ready? Prior to making your final selections, please consider (a) their role/movie choices, (b) their acting/directing abilities and (c) their overall appeal.
Thanks for joining me today! Which names did you choose? and why? Let me know in the comment section below! Can’t wait to see the results next week. Be sure to vote before the polls close on 7-2-13. The results will post on next week’s “Time to Vote Tuesday!”
Thanks for reading! Happy Watching!
