Trailers of the Week:

1. Need for Speed. Releasing a couple of months prior to Fast & Furious 7, Need for Speed is a video game franchise that is now the newcomer to the movie treatment. Starring Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul along with Dominic Cooper, and directed by Scott Waugh (Mr. & Mrs. Smith), Need for Speed is the story of a street racer released from prison who joins a race across the country with revenge in plan after being framed. Look for the road to get dangerous on March 14, 2014.

2. Avengers: Age of Ultron (TEASER). A teaser trailer from SD Comic Con, a few familiar voiceovers and a computer generated image tease of what is to come when the Avengers are on the screen once again on May 1, 2015.

3. Frozen. Finally a full trailer for this delightful animated Disney adventure that follows Anna and her team of fellow adventurers on a quest to stop her sister who has trapped the kingdom in what appears to be a never-ending winter. This one looks cool (pun-intended) and releases on November 27, 2013.

4. Concussion. A head injury leaves a woman unsure about her life and its direction. Wanting more than being a suburbian lesbian housewife, Abby finds herself living a double life as a high-class escort. Her secret, kept from her friends and family may not remain secret afterall. This film received attention at film festivals and releases soon.

5. Dom Hemingway. Jude Law stars as a notorious safe-cracker recently let out of prison after 12 years and, after keeping silent as to the details of the heists he participated in, he now looks to collect on what he is owed. London is not prepared for the antics of Hemingway. Look for this to release on April 4, 2014.

6. How I Live Now. A second trailer here gives more of what to expect from this drama starring Saoirse Ronan about a girl from America who takes vacation in the English countryside and finds herself fighting for survival will newly made friends when World War III breaks out. October 4 will find this film releasing in the UK.

7. A Case Of You. Peter Dinklage and Sam Rockwell join Justin Long in this romantic comedy that Long also co-wrote about a young writer who, in order to get the girl, cyber stalks her and makes his likes mirror hers. She falls for him and then it gets messy. What do you guys think of this case? Look for it soon.

Spotlight Video of the Week:

Featurette for oldboy_remake_josh_brolin_poster

The original being a classic (and currently available to stream on Netflix), Spike Lee is releasing a remake soon about a man released after being imprisoned mysteriously for 20 years. His kidnapping and now re-purpose are as much a mystery as his captors.

Here’s a quick featurette of the film that stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson and more. Check it out:

What do you think? Look for it on November 27, 2013.

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: How I Live Now, Frozen and Dom Hemingway.

Which ones are your favorites??
