November 14, 2013

Today is THURSDAY!!! And you know what that means!! 🙂 It is officially time for another fun-filled edition of “Trailer Time Thursday!”

Here is your weekly fix of “Triple-T” (aka: “Trailer Time Thursday!”)!!

In case this is your first visit to “Triple-T,” here’s what it’s all about:

Seeing as how everyone loves movie previews, “Trailer Time Thursday!” was created to bring all of the trending trailers that you may have missed in theaters, or just need to see, all in one convenient place! It makes Thursdays so great! Get ready! Your Preview Pandemonium awaits!

Check them out and ENJOY!!! :)

Trailers of the Week:

1. Divergent. The newest addition to the Young Adult book genre brought to film, Divergent is set in a futuristic time in which the ruling leaders have divided society in order to control it. Beatrice is a teenager who unwillingly conforms and finds others like her with special gifts and abilities and joins the fight and rebellion with them. Starring Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet and more, this promising film releases on March 21.

2. Noah. Director Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Fountain) brings the Biblical epic tale of Noah and the Ark to the big screen like never before. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins and more, enjoy this first official peek and look for this to “flood” into theaters on March 28th.

3. Noah (int’l English trailer). With extra footage, those wanting to see more, check out this additional trailer for Noah.

4. Some Velvet Morning. Stanley Tucci plays a man who has left his wife for a former mistress played by Alice Eve. After his unannounced arrival on her doorstep their history rises up and unresolved issues cause more problems than anticipated at first by either. (And I’m wondering over what period of time the events take place because they are wearing the same clothes throughout the entire trailer. haha) December 10th the sun will rise on this velvet morning.

5. Lone Survivor. This “Based on a True Story” movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Ben Foster and Eric Bana in a film about a SEAL Team on the infamous failed June 2005 mission “Operation Red Wings.” Tasked with the mission to capture or kill a notorious Taliban leader, the mission goes awry and, well, the title gives you a bit of what to expect. Watch this gripping trailer and prepare for January 10.

6. Maleficent. Disney pictures presents the story of “Sleeping Beauty” from the perspective of Maleficent and the untold story that sent her down the path to curse the Princess Aurora. Starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley and more, look for her cast her spell in theaters on May 30, 2014.

7. Out of the Furnace (TV spot). This thrilling drama about brotherhood, justice and loyalty has a great cast including Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson and more. Enjoy this latest tv spot for the Scott Cooper directed film that releases on December 6.

8. Saving Mr. Banks (Story featurette). A lovely featurette for the story of the making of Mary Poppins. I quite look forward to this movie from Disney and this featurette shares a few more reasons as to why you should too! It releases on December 20th.

Spotlight Video of the Week:

Featurette for The Book Thiefthe-book-thief03

Still in limited release, this WWII drama starring Geoffrey Rush and more is a tale I look forward to watching. If you haven’t seen anything about this movie it is one to keep an eye out for. Check out this feature.

Well, that’s it for this round of ‘Triple-T’!

My favorite trailers from today: Noah, Maleficent and Divergent. (I would like the Lone Survivor one more if it didn’t give away practically the whole movie.)

Which ones are your favorites??

That Noah one looks good! I hope that it keeps with the storyline in the bible without getting too sidetracked with sub-stories!

That Velvet Morning one looks terrible! I don’t think I could bear to watch 90 mins of that.

Noah, Lone Survivor and Maleficient all float my boat. Noah looks like it could be, visually, amazing. That’s what I’m hoping for anyway.

Very curious about NOAH, obviously I’m hopeful that they don’t forget the source material y’know, the fact that it’s a Biblical epic tale after all 😉
